On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Chapter of the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce I am very pleased to give you the most cordial invitation and welcome to our website.  We hope that this site will be a useful instrument for you as we all work to promote commercial exchange between the states of the U.S. Pacific Northwest and Mexico.

We are but one of 18 offices that the Chamber has on both sides of the border, and we work with the same conviction and desire to serve all the other regional chapters of the Chamber.  The Board of Directors has worked hard to design this web page, but we would request that you, our audience, help us improve it in every way with your suggestions, which will be reviewed and studied immediately.

Since its creation in 1993, the Northwest Chapter has worked hard to improve our commercial interaction with Mexico, which today is certainly good, but could be greatly improved.  For that reason we all must continue collaborating in an effort of imagination, creativity and unity.

In our Chapter, we are convinced that commercial interchanges and bi-national investments are not an end in themselves, but simply a medium that permits us to better resolve our national problems, while offering those of us who live in Mexico and the United States a life with more liberty, justice, peace, and dignity.

We hope that our website can in some way contribute to the achievement of such a lofty goal.

A nombre del Consejo Directivo del Capítulo Noroeste de la Cámara de Comercio Méxcio-Estados Unidos, me es muy grato dar a usted la más cordial bienvenida a nuestra página web.  Esperamos que esta página sea para usted un instrumento útil en el propósito común de promover el intercambio comercial entre México y los estados del Pacífico Noroeste de los Estados Unidos de América.

Nosotros somos solo una de las 18 oficinas que la Cámara tiene a los dos lados de la frontera, y trabajamos con la misma convicción y deseo de servir de todos los demás capítulos regionales.  El Consejo Directivo ha realizado un gran esfuerzo para construir y diseñar esta página pero necesitamos de ustéd, amable lector, para mejorarla cada día. Por favor enviénos todas sus sugerencias las cuales estudiaremos inmediatamente.

Desde su creacion en 1993, el Capítulo Noroeste ha trabajado duro para mejorar nuestros intercambios comerciales que, el día de hoy, son ciertamente buenos, pero que están llamados a ser muchísimo mejores. Por éso, todos debemos seguir colaborando en un esfuerzo de imaginación, creatividad y unidad.

En este Capítulo estamos convencidos que el intercambio comercial y las inversiones bi-nacionales no son un fin en si mismo, sino simplemente un medio que nos permite resolver mejor nuestros problemas nacionales y ofrecer a quienes vivimos tanto en México como en Estados Unidos una vida con más libertad, más justicia, más dignidad y más paz.
